Waze actually works very well in many places here. Or, if you have an Internet connection, you can use Google Maps or the popular Waze App to cross-reference in the same way. Once you are here, you can use GPS to make sure you are on the right road. If you are planning your driving routes ahead of time, we recommend using our guide, along with Google Maps and/or this waterproof Costa Rica travel map. It is important to note that many of the roads in Costa Rica may be numbered on a map, but they are not marked with any actual road signs. We’ll update our information as necessary based on those reports as well as our own most recent drives.
